Acceptable Use

Use it well.

Document version 1.0-draft · Effective July 22, 2026 · Applies to the Optim Board Room desktop application.

Draft — attorney review required

This plain-language draft describes how Board Room actually works today. It must be reviewed by a qualified attorney before any paid launch, and it is separate from the Optim 3D-printing store policies.

01 / The idea

Board Room is a tool for legitimate work

Research, writing, planning, coding, learning, brainstorming — with AI members you are entitled to use. You are responsible for what you ask the AIs to do and for what you do with their output.

02 / Prohibited

Don't use Board Room to

Break the law or others' rights; develop malware or attacks; harass or defraud; evade an AI provider's security, anti-bot protections, or usage restrictions; use provider accounts you are not authorized to use; attempt to bypass Board Room's own security, plan limits, or safety features; or misrepresent AI output as verified fact where accuracy matters (medical, legal, financial decisions) without human review.

03 / Provider terms still apply

Your provider agreements govern too

Each connected provider has its own acceptable-use rules; those apply to everything Board Room relays on your behalf. Membership (website) mode drives the provider's site with your real signed-in session — providers may restrict automated use, and you accept that risk on your own account.

04 / Enforcement

Consequences

Optim may decline support and, for future account-based services, suspend or terminate access for violations. [ATTORNEY REVIEW REQUIRED: final enforcement and appeal language.]
