Privacy & security
Your meetings stay on your PC.
Conversations, projects, and settings are stored locally with automatic backups. Meeting turns pass through Opt!m Omega's servers only to reach the AI provider and meter usage — they are not kept. Frequently asked
Do I need my own AI accounts or API keys?
No. Your Opt!m Omega plan powers every seat through Omega Mode — Opt!m Omega's own metered access to the model providers. There are no keys to paste and no provider accounts to manage.
Is there a free plan?
No. Board Room is a paid product: pick Plus, Pro, or Founder inside the app after installing. You can cancel any time from the billing portal and keep access to the end of the period.
Where is my data stored?
On your PC. Meetings, projects, settings, and memory stay in your Windows user profile with automatic backups. Meeting turns pass through Opt!m Omega's servers only to reach the model provider — they are metered, not stored.
Can the AIs really work on my computer?
Only with your permission. Every capability — files, web, email, computer control — defaults to off or ask-first, actions show in a live activity feed, and folder boundaries are enforced even at full access.
Why does Windows SmartScreen warn me?
Public installer downloads are currently paused. When downloads return, an unsigned build may show a Windows unknown-publisher warning; verify it against the SHA-256 checksum on this page before installing.
